Public-works experience

1. TI and renovation work

2. Experience working in occupied schools or campuses

3. Ability to read construction drawings (plans + details)

4. Lead small teams

5. Reliable and punctual

6. Clean and professional appearance

7. Respectful in school and public-agency environments

8. Ability to follow direction without attitude

9. Strong communication with superintendent/PM

10. Willingness to learn and adapt

Qualifications

• 5–10 years + able to run small crews

• Be able to work and complete task independently adhering to project schedule.

• Commercial Framing (metal stud and wood)

• Acoustical ceiling installation

• Drywall hanging & taping basics

• Cutting and installing casework/cabinets

• Door & hardware installation

• Proper use of levels, lasers, and layout tools

• Experience using power tools safely (saws, drills, rotary hammers, etc.)

Certifications & Licensing

• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30

• Forklift and scissor-lift certifications

• Fall protection training

• First Aid/CPR

The pay rate for this role in California is subject to prevailing wages for public works or experience for private work.
